Tips: Where is frequency converter being used?
The power supply in UK is 50 Hertz 230V AC, in USA its 60 Hertz 110V AC. So, if you want to use an appliance from USA in UK, not only need to step-down voltage to 110Vac, but will have issues with the frequency. So any appliance with a motor, for example, microwave ovens, CD/DVD players, analogue clocks etc. would all respond differently to a lower frequency. In such situations, you will need a static (solid state) frequency converter. By using a static frequency converter, you can convert 220V/230V/240V 50Hz to 110V/120V 60Hz, vice versa. Adjustable output voltage and frequency function allows you converting fixed voltage & frequency power course to conform with your appliances.
